(1) The electromagnetic vibrating feeder cannot withstand excessive pressure, as this will reduce the amplitude of the feeder and thus affect the feeding capacity. In order to ensure the normal operation of the feeder, the influence of the pressure on the feeder must be minimized. Usually, the vertical projection pressure area on the feed tank is controlled to be less than 1/ of the discharge area of the silo. Within the range of 5 to 1/4; the method of arranging the chute can also be adopted, and the vertical side pressure of the column is taken up by the rear side plate of the chute.
(2) In order to facilitate the adjustment of the thickness of the material layer in the feed tank and the flow of the cut-off material from the silo when the feeder is inspected, a gate should be provided at the discharge port of the silo or on the chute. In order to avoid damage to the tank of the feeder due to the impact of materials, in general, the silo is not allowed to be emptied, and a certain amount of oblique material should be maintained in the silo and the feeder. If the material on the silo and the feeder is to be unloaded due to refueling or other reasons, the gate should be closed after unloading the material to prevent the material from impacting on the tank during reloading.
(3) The installation inclination angle of the electromagnetic vibrating feeder is suitable or not, which has a great influence on the feeding capacity. It is generally recommended to install a tilt angle of 10° down, as the feed capacity of the feeder can be increased by more than 30%. However, the inclination angle is preferably not more than 10 ° ~ 15 °. Because the angle of inclination is too large, the sliding of the material increases, which will accelerate the wear of the tank. The feeder tank can also be mounted up tilted depending on the process configuration, but this will reduce the feed capacity of the feeder.
